Softwood Railway Sleepers – Green Treated Sawn Timber

Softwood Railway Sleepers – Green Treated Sawn Timber are a versatile and practical choice for garden and landscaping projects. Each sleeper is cut from quality softwood and pressure treated to UC3 standards for protection against rot, decay, and fungal attack.

These softwood sleepers measure approximately 200×100mm and come in 2.4m lengths, making them ideal for a variety of outdoor uses. They can be used to create raised garden beds, steps, borders, retaining walls, or decorative edging. Their sawn finish gives a rustic, natural look that blends beautifully into any garden or outdoor space.

Because they are green treated, the timber offers long-lasting durability with minimal maintenance. The natural finish can be left to weather over time or treated with a clear or coloured wood oil to match your landscape design. Softwood sleepers are also easy to cut and fix, allowing flexibility for creative projects of any size.

Pair them with our full range of landscaping materials and timber supplies for a complete outdoor build. For inspiration and installation guidance, see this Wood Campus guide to landscaping with wood.
